Grab a couple of gently used tennis balls and your buck goes directly to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, the largest no-kill shelter in Western North Carolina. Balls are donated by UNCA Tennis (thank you!), Funky Mutt sells them, and all donations go to feed homeless dogs and cats. Now that's good karma!

Katie's favorite trick is to place her cheek on the top of your shoe, then throw herself into a roll that ends with a cat sprawled on the floor waiting to be touched. And you won't be disappointed. Her fur is velvety soft.
A Norwegian Forest cat, Katie is long and tall. She is very low key, chill, and without a hissy bone in her body, except when the occasional dog or cat gets too close. Being 12 years old, she naps in our closet, curled in the corner on a pillow but hidden from sight. When not sleeping, Katie holds court in the shop. Katie is hoping to find a retirement home that is calm, low drama, and with predictable routines.
She talks and chirps when she wants attention, then purrs like a morning dove when you rub her. She has a little arthritis in one leg, as many older cats do. Katie has lived with other cats, but this diva needs to be the only animal in a household. She is litter boxed trained and quite the love-bunny, wanting to be close to her human companion
Katie wants to remind you: "Drop by the Funky Mutt and let's see if there's any chemistry between us. With my beautiful eyes and little Mona Lisa smile, I'm quite the enchantress. Come be mesmerized by my cutie-pie looks and affectionate spirit. I want to be your special lap kitty. Meow" Funky Mutt is an adoption site for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue cats.
